JEONGBIN
YIM was appointed
President & CEO of IMBN Venture.
As a professor of Seoul National
University, he is one of co-founders
of A-IMBN, and has assumed a position
of A-IMBN President since 2005.
In academic circle, he has played
a significant role as Director
of Institute for Molecular Biology
and Genetics (IMBG) of Seoul National
University, President of Microbiological
Society of Korea, President of
The Korean Society for Molecular
and Cellular Biology, and Director
of Bio-Max Institute. In terms
of venture business experiences,
he has involved in the establishment
of a bio venture company, Genexel,
and also serves as scientific
advisor to numerous bio venture
companies i.e. CrystalGenomics,
PanGen. |

WAN-KYOO
CHO, D.Sc., is
Director of IMBN Venture. , Being
President of Bio Industry Association
of Korea, he is an internationally
respected educator, scientist
and statesman. In 1987, he was
appointed president of Seoul National
University and Minister of Education
of Republic of Korea from 1992
to 1993. He has served as standing
advisor of Korea Support Committee
for The International Vaccine
Institute and president of the
Korean Academy of Science and
Technology. |

WON-KUN
CHOI is External
Director of IMBN Venture. He was
a manager of Marketing Division
in SamSung Electronic Corp. for
4 years after serving in Business
Development Planning division
in SamSung Electronic LCD Corp
for 7 years. Later, he took up
the position of Vice president
of WIDE Corp. (SamSung spin out
LCD display venture company) for
6 years. Currently, he is President
of W-SCOPE Corp. |

SEO is Auditor
of IMBN Venture. Serving as Chairman
of Macrogen Inc., he has been
holding positions as vice president,
Korea Bio Venture Association
and vice president of Korean society
for Molecular and Cellular Biology,
and president of Korea Genome
Organization(KOGO). |

KEVIN
YOON is Managing
Director of IMBN Venture. Before
joining IMBN Venture, he used
to work for the U.S. State Department
as a program associate (2001-2002)
and relocated himself to Korea
to work at Korean government agencies
including the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and Trade and the Ministry
of Science and Technology. Concurrently
he serves as Managing Director
of A-IMBN. |
